Tirebolu Faculty of Communication has a strong technical infrastructure that enables students to transform their theoretical knowledge into practical experience. The application units within the faculty aim to provide students with industry-related experience and enhance their professional competencies before graduation.
KreaTİF (Public Relations Workshop) is the primary practice area where students of the Public Relations and Publicity Department receive hands-on training. In this workshop, students have the opportunity to engage in professional practices such as corporate identity design, brand and image management, advertising and promotional campaign development, creation of social responsibility projects, press release writing, and digital content production. By actively participating in all stages of production—from idea development to design and final output—students gain a work experience similar to a professional agency environment prior to graduation.
GüniMedya News Agency is an application center where students produce news by following local and national agendas. Brainstorming and roundtable models are applied during the news planning process, allowing students to experience the full cycle of news production. PerspekTİF Student Practice Newspaper offers a comprehensive publishing experience in which all stages—from news gathering to writing and design—are carried out by students.
RadyoTİF and TV TİF units provide practical training opportunities in the fields of radio and television broadcasting. Students transform their theoretical knowledge into practice in areas such as program production, presenting, scriptwriting, camerawork, and directing. The Film and Editing Workshop enables the production of short films and documentaries with professional camera, lighting, and editing systems, while the Photography Workshop provides the technical infrastructure required for advertising, news, and artistic photography.
ObjekTİF Magazine supports students in gaining production experience and engaging with society by publishing their academic and socially oriented works. Through these application units, students have the opportunity to experience professional practices in the field of communication within a university environment.
