About the Program

The Public Relations and Publicity Master’s Program (with Thesis) aims to educate specialists who are able to comprehend the intellectual and methodological depth of the field by addressing contemporary theoretical debates and the transforming media practices in communication within a scientific framework. The program comprehensively examines the historical development of public relations, critical approaches, the relationship between the public sphere and media, communication strategies of institutional structures, and their societal impact, while evaluating the phenomenon of communication through interaction with various disciplines of the social sciences. In this way, the program aims to ensure that students can analyze communication processes not only through technical applications, but also within their theoretical and societal contexts.

The research methods courses and the thesis process conducted within the program focus on developing students’ abilities to define scientific problems, conduct literature analysis, select appropriate research methods, and report findings in accordance with academic ethical principles. By conducting in-depth research on an original topic, students gain the opportunity to contribute to the field. This process provides a strong foundation both for doctoral-level academic studies and for research-based strategic communication practices in the public and private sectors.
