The External Stakeholder Meeting organized by the Department of Public Relations and Publicity brought together representatives from academia and industry. The meeting was attended by Dr. Rafet Aykut Akay from Marmara University, Dr. Nevra Üçler from İstanbul Gelişim University, Res. Asst. Dr. Esra Yılmaz Tiryaki (alumna) from Maltepe University, Bora Hızal, founder of Yönadam Brand Communication and Consultancy, Ömürden Sezgin, founder of Ancreva Brand Consultancy, Salim Kadıbeşegil, consultant at Repman Reputation Research Center, Nevzat Tiraki (alumnus), director at Bumm Agency, İlayda Demir (alumna), working in client relations at TBWA, Ufuk Şahin, corporate communications specialist at Hayat Kimya, Ali Yakut, founder of Lapland Advertising Agency, and Nilay Küçük, chief editor at Cumhuriyet Newspaper. During the meeting, current developments in the communication sector, the competencies of graduates, and the improvement of educational processes in line with industry expectations were discussed, and mutual exchange of ideas took place.
